Justin Kluivert Named EA SPORTS Player of the Month for January 2025
Justin Kluivert, the 25-year-old forward for AFC Bournemouth, has been awarded the prestigious EA SPORTS Player of the Month honor for January 2025. This marks the first time the talented player has won this accolade.
During the month of January, Kluivert showcased his exceptional abilities, contributing a remarkable five goals and two assists in his four appearances. His seven goal involvements were tied for the most by any player in the Premier League, as he helped propel Bournemouth’s pursuit of a coveted European spot.
The young star’s impact was felt across several crucial matches. He netted an equalizing penalty in a draw against Chelsea, before delivering a hat-trick and an assist in a dominant 4-1 victory over a previously undefeated Newcastle United side. This personal achievement was particularly noteworthy, as it surpassed the goal total at St. James’ Park set by his legendary father, Patrick Kluivert, a former UEFA Champions League winner who had played for Newcastle during the 2004/05 season.
Kluivert’s remarkable performances continued into the final match of the month, as he found the back of the net and provided an assist in Bournemouth’s decisive 5-0 triumph over Nottingham Forest, ending their opponents’ impressive eight-match unbeaten run in the Premier League.
